Spoiling rate

Good afternoon, I got a noobish question.
I have started a local gameplay and I tried to play with the settings too, such as enable or disable stuffs, use admin cheats...but I still not understand how to set the spoling time, it is so annoying that I should refill the meat 10 times/day, expecially cuz I haven't that much time and, even following istructions ".ini" I cannot change it.
Could anyone explain me how to increase the duration of harvested resources, please?

I can't recall seeing it on the single player section of options, so I'm guessing you will have to fiddle with the ini files. Just an FYI, eventually gathering meat becomes so easy you have excess, and the spoiled meat actually has more use because you need it to make narcotics.

I cannot find it into .ini files, so I tried to add it copying the lines but seems like it doesn't works..and, yeah, u are right about narcotics, but 10000000000 spoiled meat/day isn't usefull, is just a finger in the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

There are many things you can alter in this game with a simple ini line.

I would recommend saving this link for reference - http://ark.gamepedia.com/Server_Configuration . Give it a read (it also includes the spoil timer you are looking for).

Also note, there are a few copies of the ini files in question. For local I believe the ones you want to edit are in the WindowsNoEditor folder.

Your problem is you're not playing correctly. Preserving bin with sparkpowder is how to win. Later, a fridge.

I know we live in an instant gratification society today... but you'll feel a lot more accomplished if you figure out the game strategy without resorting to config changes.

I just want to play in local for keep my dinos after my server will do a wipe and I won't lost all my tames.
I would like to enter, fill the food and play in another server once at day, that's all.

I don't understand where I should copy these strings. :C
I copied in "my session settings" (where there's player damage, dino damage ecc) but still not works..should I paste in general settings?
