Base location on floating island (center map)

I saddled on the floating island (map the center).
Ive build on my base on top of the island for ~2000h now.
To get some water creatures i got a harbor close to lava island.
Since the new update it takes me 15 minuts to travel between my base and the harbor.
I got the idea to get all my stuff and creatures down and build up a base in the harbor.
Problem is i got tons of stuff there. huge hangars and barns for ~300 dinos. even brontos i breeded there.

Im would be happy if anyone got a good idea what i can do in this situation.
Right now i feel a bit lost in my position.
Also i dont know what happens if my quetz run out of stamina about the water.
can it still carry rexes ?
Till now i can just keep my dinos alive and generators running.
Also there are now visitors(pvp and pve player) in my base anymore.
Good thing. my base got the best defense now. :-D

The whole design of The Center was made at a time when flyers could fly and rafts could sail, so big open spaces, large distances, lots of verticality, and wide seas went into the very weave of the map. Now The Center's design just doesn't make sense anymore for the game Wildcard wants to change ARK into. And that's even without the Leedsichthys, and few enough Baryonyx you can avoid them if you carefully use K mode while sailing. Imagine how bad it'll be when rafts finish becoming unusable. I'd feel sorry for evilmfrank if it weren't evident he's almost abandoned it anyway. But such a beautiful, well-designed map, so crippled for so little reason.

I agree with some of the nerfs but for an official map its realy sad what happend. as i said in the discription i played 2k hours there and i think im not alone with this problem. many tribes on many servers are there. moving in such a game level is extreme (~300 dinos). Doing everything again on another place is a thing i have to think about more than just a few days. Also i dont know how to get most of the stuff down. With the size of the map and the long ways it will take weeks of just moving for the hole tribe.
For now i wait for more rebalance and hope they did not forget us up the sky. xD
A new bridge from the swamp to the river on floating island would help a lot.
I could make a giant dino train :-D

Agreed, great explanation, and yes not much of a reason at all to ruin such a beautiful creation.

ask the admin to add teleporters mod to the server

yes that looks like an idea. )) i will wait 1~2 weeks for rebalance. if im still kinda stuck in a month, it can be a very good solution.
