1. Go to ARK Survival Evolved in your STEAM library, right click on ARK and select "properties". Then Select "set launch options"
Make sure to put this in the launch options, this will highly increase better FPS/framerate/loading speed in ARK.
Put this in set launch options...
-USEALLAVAILABLECORES -sm4 -d3d10 -nomansky -lowmemory -novsync
After that's done, play with ARK's screen resolution and put all other settings on lowest with advanced settings completely off.
You don't have to put everything on lowest and all the advanced settings off which is OPTIONAL, only if you computer is good enough ^^
The launch options does make the game run allot better but it will make ARK in graphics look worse that it is, but it will fix the game and make it run allot better.
The ARK files like Ageagainst mentioned in his comment above, can corrupt the files and here's why...
1. If you have too many ACTIVE mods in play with too much disk space
2. Your computer doesn't qualify to play the game (that's why I mentioned to try what I said above, but I do have other solutions to help you out down below mentioned.)
You can copy the ARK files and delete the old ones and paste them back again, this sometimes fixes it, you won't lose anything, it will be like playing a new game with better boost performance, but you just don't have to start over. This was something that I had to do as well unfortunetely.
You can also get a software to boost performance if you check what graphics card your computer uses. (But once the software is installed, there are advanced settings to boost the performance, make sure on google of the software that you should have those settings on best suitable settings that won't crash your computer when playing games.)
That's the best advice that I can offer, hope it works bud ^^
Lastly remove any stupid launch options like posted above. None of them are for any issues you are having.
I've seen only 3 and every one of them were completely different problems.
