How to Feed Dinos Things Like Battle Tartare?

Hello all! So, I know that this feature was removed a while back, but I play solo, and am working on building up for the bosses, and I feel this may be helpful. I've not been lucky in turning up any info if there is a setting somewhere that can switch the ability to feed these battle items to dinos back on, or if there is a mod out there for it, so I am curious if anybody out there knows of any way.

haven't tried, but I would think it would be similar to when you tame them. put it in the inventory and remote use

That was removed. From my understanding the only things they can be fed are meats and berries, while herbivores can be fed sweet cakes. I know you used to be able to feed things cactus broth, so I used that as a test, and you no longer can, confirming it got taken out. I haven't found any setting that I am aware of to switch it back "on" though, nor a mod, but I'm not sure if I just am overlooking them

Yeah, wasn't sure if it was still in or not. I know there was talk last year about removing that option.

Ya they removed it because people were glitching turtles to only get like .5 damage per turret shot and people could empty thousands of ammo with one turtle.
With beer, recipes, high lvl saddles, cakes, and mate boost you were pretty much invincible on a turtle.

sturdy little tanks aren't they? I had a rule about not killing them in the lagoon at the southern rock penninsula because they tanked the sarcos coming down that river and kept the lagoon safe . . . except for piranha

Ya before the nerf you had to have someone on to pickup turtles and drop them in lava just so you didnt lose all your defenses

I figured it was balance reason as to why it was removed. Kinda wish they would have made it a server option and just disabled it on officials though. I mean, it would have done the same thing, while allowing those who still want to use it to do so (server permitting). Ceste la vie I guess.

yeah, like most nerfs it is to balance the PvP side of the game
