Stat transfer from parents?
So I've been breeding the same Rex's with OP health/melee when tamed, when I breed them and hatch the egg I've never got a baby with melee from one and health from the other. Their stats have been terrible and the level is way below the level of when I tamed the rexs. Have they made it rarer to get the better stats from the parents or am I just getting very unlucky?

I've been thinking the same thing, but it's hard to believe now that I've hatched 4 rex eggs, and 1 anky egg which all gave me a lower base level then the mother and father.

I hatched 8 rex eggs, only 2 of them inherited the absolute highest stats. It is definitely not 70%.

hatch more?
just make 100 eggs and hatch them in batches of 10 each 15 or 30 minutes, sort the good babies and kill the rest...

it is 70% per stat.
So to inherit 2 highest stats it is 49%,
3 - 34.3%,
4 - 24%
5 - 16.8%
6 - 11.76%
all 7 (including speed) - 8.2%

Thanks for the info, though it's kinda hard to get a 100 hatchable eggs from 2 rexs xD

Just takes time, also the once you hatch can also be used to breed with its parents.

I just combined the best stats of our quetzes, breeding in health, stamina, weight and melee. It took me 30+ quetzes, lots of incest and mass genocide before I got perfect quetzes. Though in the time it took me to do this, my allied tribe got better weight and stamina, so seems I have to start the process all over again... :|
I tamed a higher stamina raptor right after I had gotten mine where I wanted... Never ends :p
But at least its just one stat to get into the mix, quicker than all of em.
