amd rx 480 4gb

i need a new graphics card and im thinking about buying a amd rx 480 4gb, i want to play scorched earth but is the 480 good on medium/high settings?

for medium/high - yes, but only if the rest of your system is not over few years old

Yes. Even works with a fairly old CPU atm for me. But I'd recommend you get the 8 Gb version instead. You can never ever have too much ram. But beware if you ever lack it...

Have one in my sons comp paired with an fx8320 and 8gb of ram runs anywhere between 45-70 fps with these settings and looks great.

Only thing wrong with the RX480 is it's not quite up there with the 1060 6gb, for the price the 480 is great makes teh 1060 3gb look abit silly

do yourself a favour and get the 8gb version of that card. 4gb are currently fine but you'll never know how much you're gonna need in the future.. so why not doubling the vram for just a few dollars more?

true, right now i own gtx1060 6gb model and on mix of high/epic (depending on area) it can use over 5,5gb vram
