No alliances possible with offline raid protection?

As it seems, I cannot form alliances when the offline raid protection is enabled. Is this true, or can there be another reason why it does not work?
I tried yesterday, but the option is missing from the tribe menu. I checked my server settings, and the PreventTribeAlliances setting is NOT present in my config.

Must I explicitely disable it by setting PreventTribeAlliances=false, or will alliances never work when my settings include PreventOfflinePvP=true?

If so, will it be possible to temporarily set PreventOfflinePvP=false, then make a new alliance, and then restart the server again with PreventOfflinePvP=true?

If you use the in-built ORP my experience is no matter what you do you're stuck with no alliences. I've not used the ORP 2 mod however it might do what you're looking for.

I guess there is no alliances on ORP, because once allied you can place structures in each other's bases. Allied tribe could not log for some time, shielding your base from raids.

No and it's not the only broken thing, official ORP is just a big fail :/

BTW the reason why it doesn't work was that devs were too lazy to figure out how to detect if anyone within ally is online or not, it's even in patch log... So they made this a feature, with ORP alliances are disabled.

the official ORP with the PreventTribeAlliances=false is great the mods suck

the mods are bad the do not work. the will sometime stop your weapons and will come on even when tribe are on line

Do you write that command on Game.ini or Gameusersettings.ini?
