I get this all the time and i have a good PC and complain when my FPS go under 100, if you go afk for a while comeback then turn it`s all blurry for a few seconds till it loads again, but it can do it at anytime if you travel somewhere new, Games on SSD and Windows on a nvme drive, i have 8gb ddr5x gfx mem + 16GB ddr4 and at mo only @1080 res and still no solution i have found and i will have a stab in the dark and say WC haven`t either. Bring on the Full Release! (with bugs) :(

Not what I am talking about. Talking on Ragnarok servers all wood textures are blurry as well as the fireplace (which is the worst) and a few other objects. Hit it with a paintbrush and everything is sharp, exit paint menu and it is all blurry again. This is not the normal blurriness from alt tabbing or going afk

I`m on Ragnarok too and when i said afk and it fixes it, if i turn again it goes blurry again, we know WC have memory leak issues, and they do too, there is no solution till they fix that, people with different memory or 32gb don`t have this fault, Truesky is main problem forum posts have found, i just turned mine off and get black sky from time to time, but the blurring is less frequent now and if i look up i get 200+ FPS, thats no reflection on gaming but shows there was a problem with the sky

Same exact issues here. None of the fixes mentioned, work. Not a one. Re-start my machine to fix ram issue? LMAO. No. That's just stupid. This is WC's problem. Not a players. It's bad enough you have to shut the game down completely and, re-enter to clear up the blur. It shouldn't be doing it at all! It's not an gpu issue. It's the game. Yes, I only notice it on Ragnarok as well. Can't wait to see if WC fixes it. Ever Not holding my breath as they don't seem to fix much. Hope everyone else gets a fix as well.

I have 64 gb of ram, truesky is off, get occasional blacksky, still have continual bluring of wood textures

July comment, i wasn`t sticking up for wc, i have ddr4 blah blah the pc next to me has ddr3 we both get different skys still... mine looks ok, but fog is blue... other gets black sky and fog looks like fog...time to unsubscribe from this, these comments aint going to fix this, wc will when they decide to employ more people, its really as simple as that, and if they don`t, well....at least i won`t be reading this anymore, that`s all i can say ^_^

Bump, someone solved this problem?
TeaTurtle Aug 18, 2017 @ 6:13am
Mine eventually cleared up on its own after about a month after posting here on this thread. It's not the first time it's happened either, it seems to come and go and no amount of tweaking, validating, settings messing or re-installing will fix it until the game decides to get its act together and fix on its own. Hopefully someone's found a fix for when this happens, but for me, I've never found one unforutnately.

I am now experiencing this in my new dedicated server through nitrado on Ragnarok. Could it be related to the recent update?
Alea Iacta Est Aug 18, 2017 @ 6:44pm
No, I have this problem since this topic date, no fix then...

I believe this particular problem is directly related to Ragnarok for some reason. I've not found a solution. WC put out an update couple of days ago claiming to have fixed 'optimization' and what not. Yeah, the blurring's optimal alright!

I think it's indeed something like this. I play on high-epic and the textures always need some time to load in when you've just joined a server, but sometimes it's just not happening. Or it takes a longer time than usual.

This almost looks like a Resolution Scale issue,

Try this: Launch the game from the Steam Library and select the 'reset game resolution' option. At the title screen, go into options and make sure your resolution scale bar is set to full-right. Also, set the screen resolution and windowing settings back to whatever was comfortable for you before.

Reset game resolution work for a while, when I set up my graphic settings for better framerate (cause gtx 770 sucks), again blurry textures...

Can a developer/support member help us?

VaN........WC doesn't help. It's what they're famous for.
Diggs Aug 19, 2017 @ 4:43pm
Since the last patch, the problem has only worsened. There is NO FIX for this. Nothing stops the problem. Some of the solutions are temporary at best, meaning nothing affects the game more than an hour or so. This is a WILDCARD problem plain and simple and, until they get their crap together the problem will continue.
