Error! App '376030' state is 0x426 after update job.
attempted steam update on my unofficial server and this is the message I received at end of steam update: Error! App '376030' state is 0x426 after update job.

Now my server will not start. Anyone have any ideas please?

a Quick google search found this. Google is more of a friend than the ark forums.

-This error occurs when there is still an update task running in the background.

-Closing an update window does not end the update process, it will continue to run in the background until completing.

-If the server was online when the update was run, it will be started automatically after completing.

-This error will disappear once the background update has completed and you will see that the service is "Already Up to Date" in the Steam update window.

-You will also receive an error when trying to delete the Steamapps folder due to the files being in use from the updater. A force validation is not required in this situation.

Why this guy just copy and paste the last guy. I'll do it too.

No, you stop. Necros are sometimes important so that important information can be seen and so that others can comment on the thread in the future if they need to. It can sometimes help prevent threads from being locked and/or deleted.

My Team Fortress 2 server started doing this after today's update, and the updater kept throwing this error and prevented the server from updating. It eventually went away after the updater went into a near-continuous download loop.

Hope this helps someone else experiencing the same issue.
