Oh, and I forgot the time I was in Whitesky Peak, and flew randomly off my argent sideways, then died with a message saying 'you killed yourself'. Survival is more than a challenge when you don't have a clue what is killing you.
But also yeah there are still weird bugs ingame. ))
As for accidentally jumping off birds, yes, I've done that - but generally you head straight down, not sideways at great velocity into a cliff. Plus, I didn't hit 'jump' as I have learned that particular lesson well...
@gamertaboo: That's a weird one too, makes no sense. And annoying to have to round up all your creatures. At least when that has happened to me they have been actually defending the base.
but to be honest it sounds like terrible laggs. maybe you should check your internet connection and the server connection.

On a serious note I've had a few dinos, on my private server, fly around and act weird when on passive or neutral myself. I've found if you have just ONE, even ONE, dino on aggressive, all of your neutral dinos will follow it to attack everything.
Yes lag can make you rubberband and then when the game tries to "figure out where you are" it can make you "fly" but it's more like a positioning issue. I've had it happen to me and I've played Ark since day one almost. Granted a took a year hiatus to wait for more content, but it can happen.
I would suggest backing up your save files, delete your Ark game, reinstall it (do it overnight or something since it's big if your PC is slow), then place your old saves back in and see if that helps perhaps. You could also make sure your PC is free of junk, old files, etc. with free programs like CCleaner, Defraggler can help with your PC lag issues, or try Malwarebytes Free Junkware Cleaner.
You should ALWAYS make a PC Restore Point though before trying anything in case something odd happens. Also check your graphics settings and make sure motion blur is off as that can affect your "lag" and game speed at times too. Just play around with the settings and see if something changes.
if this is not the fact i can just hope that there will be a hotfix for you soon ))
Can also be caused by force spawning dinos, too many dinos on the island etc. I would also suggest you use admin commands and do a wilddino wipe (save game before you do this) and then see if that helps. Sometimes that'll help a lot.
Sounds like something is spawning under the terrain and killing you. You don't get a death message?
I don't force spawns and haven't altered spawns in any way so there shouldn't be too many. I haven't ever done a wild dino wipe, but this is not a very old save, so there shouldn't be any problems because of the age/size of save file or corruption.
@AdamWest: I think I would notice if I had lag or rubber-banding, because of just the behaviour you describe. What I have is not teleporting, it is more like a physics issue, with my character being flung wildly in a random direction. The game doesn't freeze, my fps remains consistently high while I am bugging to death. I don't suffer from ctd's either...
@DiscipleOfYahweh: I always back up my game, every time I play. Years of playing early access titles with entertaining bugs and glitches has trained me well :D
