Squid Grab
Does the squid still not let go of the mosasaurus?

I had just killed one with a mosa, but the whole experience was such a glitchy rush of adrenaline that I'm not really sure how it happened. It seemed like my mosa could attack through the grab... or maybe it let me go? Idk.

I'm afraid to try and kill one. I heard sometimes of squids not letting go. I may bring my Dunk and Mosa to battle one.

Can we have a Dev reply on the situation about this?

I had no problems killing them with mosa as long as it doesn't get stunlocked. If you keep hitting squid, it will release mosa. Just stay away from the ground, not sure if it is fixed yet.

Just for safety I would recommend taking two water creatures to kill wild Squids. If they don't let go of your first dino by itself, it should let go when it's aggro switches to different creature from it being closer/taking damage from it... or just tame high level Basilos for it.

Should a Mosa and Dunk be fine? I don't have a high level Basilos and they hard to find on the Island.

My Dunk has 10k HP, a primitive saddle only (Im hoping to upgrade but have no idea where to find a better one) Was thinking of sending him in first

Yes tuso grab can still glitch your dino, every grab creature can glitch your dino, it's most likely something they will never be able to fix properly. I lost a mosa to tuso grab about 2 weeks after all their "fixes". So its just something you will have to roll the dice one. Ill give you 1 piece of advice though, make sure there are no other targets in close proximity when it tries to grab, since that seems to be one of the biggest culprits especially if there is a player and dino where it is about to grab, seems to glitch the dino easiest during that scenario.

I lost a 145 tamed female mosa due to it running out of air on the bottom of the ocean then when it died it was 10 meters over the top of the water. This happened just last week.
