64-bit PC, but 32-bit ARK?
So i have an Acer gaming laptop with Windows 10 (64-bit) but when i open Ark:Survival Evolved, It tells me that I opened a 32-bit ARK. Is this a normal thing and its supposed to be like this? Or should i change ARK to 64-bit? If so, how do i change it? (If its even possible)

there is no 32bit ark. unreal engine 4 doesn't even support 32bit.

what are your system specs?

It says that but it runs in 64 bit. Just trust us it won't even launch on a 32 bit system. There's nothing to change.

considering that ark and steam are in the 32bit program files i would guess that it actually does run in 32bit

no... steam is installed whereever you want it to be. since the application itself is available in 32bit it is usually installed in program files x86

i repeat it again: Unreal Engine 4 is an advanced engine that doesn't support 32bit anymore. THERE IS NO WAY THIS ENGINE WILL EVEN UNDERSTAND 32BIT ANYMORE. --> ark doesn't exist in 32bit

No it really won't. You will see like one thread a week or so of people complaining of an error that goes something like "Error missing executable."

Every single time they are running a 32bit OS. The game will not launch or play on a 32bit OS.

As Desertworld and others have said as well, UE 4 and ARK are 64 bit game. It has to be as the PS4 and Xbox one are also 64 bit CPU as why both console have 8 GB ram this time.

ARk is 64 bit game. Says so in steam website and hardware requiments.

Prob why will never see ( could be wrong tho) ARK survial on Nintendo switch, but be kinda cool if it did happen, but prob look like last gen though lol
It only has 4 Gb onboard main memory. ( stupid Nintendo ) but does have 64 SOC CPU.
