Admin: Allow building near obelisk, possible?

Me and my friend just started a private server for building reasons and we'd like to build near the obelisk. Is there any setting we can turn on in gamesettings to make this possible?

With S+ structures it's possible but not with normal structures(tent/storageboxes/you name it). We recently played on a server where it was possible, the question is how?

Have you deactivated building near resource nodes? I think its because of that setting.
Normally its allowed to build near obelisks.

just switch Game mode to PvP and you can build anywhere

Normally its allowed to build near obelisks.

I'm not excactly sure which setting you mean... It's possible to build near stones/trees etc. but the obelisk has a radius of which you cannot build inside of. Can you explicate?

The gamemode is already pvp

im in a single player game and i have "EnableExtraStructurePreventionVolumes=false" set but i still cant place around obelisks still. anyone know how to fix this?

depends on single player or server..

in my server folder it is here..
C:\games\arkServer2\ShooterGame\Saved\Config\WindowsServer

it came with the last patch there is no option so far. the path is saved/config/windowsnoeditor for singleplayer

No it didnt, its a map specific thing, you are not building at the blue ob on ragnarok with that setting alone enabled, doesnt work, so be a good boy and tell all the students what mod you are using to do it, cause that aint how its done genius. And stop spreading misinformation, ♥♥♥♥!.

Lol! Ragnarok wasn't even out in March when he posted his success and that was the way it worked on other maps. Ragnarok has a map specific building prevention around obelisks. Also, there are lots of things incomplete on Ragnarok that aren't supposed to be finished until the end of this month. Hopefully that is something that is corrected.
