TEK Rifle Range Question

Hello, i got 2 Questions regarding new TEK Rifle,

is the range higher than AutoTurrets (on high range) ?
Can the do damage to metall ?

so if both are yes, you can use it to raid easy ?

yeah the range is high and ive used the tek rifle many times to blow up turrents in testing mode
They certainly do take out metal and the tek shield.
I dont raid - only test so in a live enviroment you may face some issues such as dying :)
