Skull Island is good too, particularly the bottom which rarely has anything dangerous, or at most an onyc or two. You can pull a boat up to it to carry the material out if you don't have a quetzal.

Use always anky. i checked most of the locations with the doe and its always just stone !!! vulcano tops/under floating, scull island.

Anyother alternative?
I had a trauma there, my ptero eject me cause of exhaustion, with 47 obsidian and 11 metal on the way home

Skull Island is the small island that's shaped like a skull, in the south. It's not the same as Lava Island, the very large volcanic island in the north. You really should look at that link if you want to find locations in The Center.

Rivers in the middle of the map for oil and pearls. Green obelisk the ice island also has oil nodes above water and some can be found in the snow biome too.
