Alpha Tusoteuthis question

Does anyone know if it can grab a mosasaur.

i dont think it can. not 100% but dinos usually have the same fears even if alpha and tuso is scared of mosa normally.

the wiki page for it says it can grab everything but Giga, so I wanted to be sure before I tried. there's a level 85 female alpha squid and I mean to get rid of it.

Regular one can grab a mosa so Id imagine the alpha could as well. I used a Mosa as bait to tame Tuso

well I don't want mine grabbed so I guess I will just clear out the other predators in the area and hover above its minimum depth and shoot stone arrows at it until it dies. this should take a while.

just out of curiosity, what level was it and how many pearls did it take?

Bring a few X-bows ;) I cant remem. I used the dododex calculator and it was correct. Had to feed 3 times I think

No, the alpha tuso does not have the grab attack like a wild/tamed tuso. Is easy to kill with a good mele mosa. Alpha mosas deal more dmg and have ridiculous HP.

Yes it can grab a mosa... mosa can attack tuso while being grabbed (at least a regular one, or I got lucky) I usually just hunt the underwater creatures with my kapros and sarcos...)

Yeah, they don't have the grab attack. So can't regen HP while grabbing/attacking like a wild one can do. Is a easy kill, they drop red fishing rods.
