Raft + water doors/elevators?

Will a raft clear a dinosaur door? If so, which size?

Can you build an elevator shaft into the water? If so, can a raft be loaded onto it and then raised?

Thinking that only the center (or rudder) tile of the raft matters for clearance, gotten mine very stuck a few times. But being able to close off a shipyard with a water gate AND being able to sail through it would be very useful.

And if you could stack ships by loading one onto an elevator and raising it up - clearing a drydock space for another ship - could be very useful. Like garages that let you drive a car in, the lift lifts the car up, and you can drive another in.

Does anyone know any information or tried anything like these?

You can fit a raft through a regular dino gate, but it would be very likely that if you were transporting any dinos on it that they would get knocked off the raft as you pass through.

And no, you cannot lift a raft out on an elevator.

elevators do not work or can be placed on rafts, I believe its because it will make alot of memory leak/rubber band since 2 active objects in same time. But as I know there is a mod for it. Check it out in workshop. as for gate, raft is 2.5 wide and gate is 2 wide even with extreme prescision it wont fit or clip. Behemoth gates do the job. You can easily use a "small behemoth gate" from mods which will do the trick. Your idea is good but essentially raft is not a compact object, it can be built and if it was allowed to elevate rafts, with the structures on them it would %199 crash server. I wanted that kind of idea, for the waterfall in island south shore. I wanted to have a raft base on top of waterfall and by using an elevator put it down to the river etc. Yet elevator clips through the raft like its not there, yet taking you or dinos.
