Easy damage reduction calculation for armor
Had this conversation on our server, and It's actually pretty simple when broken down... For every hundred armor, you take 1 fraction less damage. Which gives diminishing returns.
This is the fast way to figure it out.
you simply add 100 to your armor. slide the decimal to the left twice, and put a one over it. That's how much damage you take from an attack..
For instance.. 200 armor = 1/3 damage
130 armor = 1/2.3 is taken
130 armor (add 100) = 230.0 (Slide decimal to the left twice) = 2.3 Final calc = 1/2.3 damage taken.

Hence 100 armor= 1/2 damage taken
200 armor= 1/3 damage taken
300 armor= 1/4 damage taken
400 armor= 1/5 damage taken.

LordCorellon.. If the calculation holds true to even ridiculously higher levels then it would be 1/451 damage taken... lol

Yeah, it gets nuts on Primal Fear.

Even at that armor value, there are dinos that will kill you in an instant. Thats the power of PF :)
