How to aim with wyverns ?

Hello ,

A couple of days ago i got myself a fire wyvern , leveled his stamina / Hp and melee a bit but whenever i use his breath (on ground or in air) i just can't aim the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ . Is there an easy way to be 100% sure to hit something ( the dino is inside my fire but won't get burned)
