Tamed dinos stopped following me.
Not sure what is going on here. Stayed in my base last night and when I came out this morning, noticed that all of my dinos had moved a little bit away from the base. Found them all right in same place, gathered together.

I have one mount and 3 other tamed critters. I got on my mount and rode off, the other 3 just sit there, they won't follow or move at all. Anyone see this before?

Check their inventories, might be encumbered. They all probably moved away because a Dilo or something attacked, they all went after it, and once it was dead they were like "This is our home now."

I don't think they could be encumbered unless they're picking up items on their own. They don't have anyting on them except some food. I'll check though. I thought at first they were stuck. But they aren't. No idea yet.

If they're not encumbered, I have no idea. Srry!

They're not. They're barely carrying any of their weight. This is crazy. All 3 of them just won't move at all. Sigh...

Figured it out. I had to ordrer them to start following again. Sad thing is that my mount got killed by a pack of dilos and those tiny little dinos while I was fixing that.

Try press J near them to make them all fallow you or look at one and press T to just one follow? or have you try that?

I definitely did not try J. I'll try that if it happens again. Thanks.

Okay I’m getting fed up with this glitch, I’ve visited other pages with the same problems. I just tamed a Dilophosaurus, he has no weight and he wants to follow but can’t he isn’t stuck on anything from what I can tell. He’s just on the beach staring at me, he still listens to my prompts like if I lure an animal for him to attack he’ll do it but won’t move from the spot and I’m getting upset this is the 4th one that has done this and I don’t want to have to keep killing them I’m wasting resources at this point.

When you press "J" does it change to "following you" or is there nothing appearing over it? Seems like an ordering group problem you have here.

Now that you mention it, my Parasaur wouldn't follow me last night, first he was encumbered, but then I dropped the weight and he still wouldn't move, so I lowered the follow setting and still no. So I jumped on him and he rode fine. gonna test again now

Update: My Parasaur was on turret mode, once I took him off, he moved.

I actually had many encounter like this. Most of the time, it is one or the other:
1: Turret Mode is Enabled
2: The Follow Distance
3: Wrong Group Whistle ("Z" key to check; Num.pads to change)
4: Some Hostile(s) were behind me and Both of them were stuck
5: Simply (Rarely) A Glitch or a Game Bug

These are my really-bad habits that caused me to die multiple times.
Hope this helps.
