Dung Beetles on strike: Not making fertilizers
So my beetles were making fertilizers and now they're not. I've tried the following:

1. Unclaiming then reclaiming
2. Unloading their feces off of them, disabling resources, disable wondering, picking them up and throwing them, enabling resource gathering, enable wondering, and then putting feces back on.
3. Doing 1 & 2
4. Punching the beetle into submission
5. Offering him pay raises
6. Offering health care benefits
7. Making him own mansion filled with fecal troughs

On a serious note I've tried all of previous posts advice for "fixing" beetles and nothing has worked. Is there a bug back that's keeping them from making fertilizer or what's going on? My greenhouse and crops are reliant on these little guys. I don't want to go back to compost bin days if I don't have to. >.<

Having the same issue, tried taking them off wander and back on, tried the throwing method and nothing. If memory serves me correct this started 2 days ago, not exactly sure on the timeline, though.

First, you have to have them on Wander, so make sure they're in a safe, enclosed area. Two, there is a bug, no pun intended, where they stop making fertilizer after the first time. To fix this, you have to disable wandering, pick them up, throw them down, and re enable wandering. Kind of a pain in the rear, but even like that, they still make fertilizer faster than compost bins.

I've done all of that if you'd read 1 & 2. xD

As I said I've tried it all and nothing is working. :(

Around the same time for me too. I wonder if the recent patch bugged it out for some people? Hue hue hue...bugged....sigh... ._.

Just want my pooper makers back.

It's the newest patch they tried to upgrade harvest rates for unofficals but instead have broken it entirely.

I take it that dungies aren't working for you either then eh?

Why have resource collection on?

Isn't that for when it kills something and it collects it automatically?

Disable it and try again.

It's not just dungies it's the harvest rate of all tames from what i'v seen.

So in other words TLDR once again a patch has made resource gathering hell on our lives. XD

Or I could just spawn in more beetles, but all beetles don't seem to be working. -shrug-

"Kill" is such a harsh word, I prefer "cleansing with fire".

Move him to a new location, does not have to be far just another spot in the base, works for me.Also once you relocate wait 30 minutes to see if he will actually make fertilizer.

I tried moving him to different areas to the base also. I have a giant base area fenced in and I moved himto different corners, building areas and etc. Still no luck. Guess he's just tired and pooped from all of his work. Hur hur hur.... :|

Dinos can't eat anymore for me and I have to force-feed everything

http://steamcommunity.com/app/346110/discussions/0/133256758573102583/ eating bugged no meaning of V-day event if your babies die even there is a food
^--If it isn't from that, try setting the beetle to follow you, then unfollow. That usually fixes the problem for me when they randomly stop producing fertilizer.
