Baby died with full meat in inventory
I just had a megalosaurus die after spending an hour hand feeding it, it's inventory had 50 meat on it, it's safely in my breeding area. Is there anything else that will kill a megalosaurus, is there a bug with feeding right now?

I noticed in my single-player game my baby Terror Bird's food was dropping to flat 0, despite full food inventory and I had to occasionally force-feed it if I noticed. I'm not sure if it's related to recent patches or if it's because of my growth multiplier, but I didn't see this happening until recently.

I play on a PVP official server. I don't have any multipliers :/

This just happened to me twice too. Both (megalosaurus) babies just died right in front of me. They were eating meat, just the hp suddenly dropped to zero.

i had 4 adult megalosaurus with meat in troughs and inventory, yet they were near starving, i forcefed them to full food
occasionally they will eat by themselves, and then hours nothing, probably night/daytime trigger related

this happens to me, even caught it on video. and not with megalosaurus. Happened with ovis, dimorphadon and argy.

I bet the valentine event is the cause for all these breeding and taming problems

the event is bugged.

increased cases of having to force feed to keep things from starving.

And do not let a wyvern baby go into stasis. the decreased food consumption is causing them to lose health while not rendered.

Mega's consume food faster then they can eat if it's daytime. Thus they will die if you have it rendered during the day.

Some dinos are not eating :/ sorry. I lost a bunch of dinos to this.

The mega is like raising a giga and during the day their food will remain at 0. You need to force feed them

lol of course its so bugged they can just die because they had to be force fed cause of the bug. How can you even ask if there is a bug ? lel You don't see when you mate it ? Nothing happen then mating progression just pop up and stop moving. So yeah it's not necessary linked but yes babies eventually 'forget' to eat ...

Recently mating and maturing became so buggy and glitchy, it's a shame devs don't care/don't know how to fix it.

Has also happened to me several times, had several pegomastix babies die because of not eating with an inventory full of berries. You really just gotta keep an eye on them until they reach adolescent stage, or else you'll most likely lose them because of the bug.
