Console command (PC default is tab)

R.bloomquality 0

Also some sky settings and light rays etc you can adjust in options menu

Alternatively, adjust brightness/gamma on your screen

I've been noticing this issue as well and I turn my bloom quality off by default.

The sky is blinding during the day, and that sucks especially on a flier when it's filling your view.

All my settings have been adjusted to try and fix this, it doesn't occur constantly. I notice it most when I fly over the redwood, idk if the purple glow that part of the redwood has is inducing it.

The bloom quality and lightshaft commands were added to the game options atleast for the pc. Just disable both of these

The interesting thing is, it can't actually "wreck your eyes" because it's an illusion, it's white pixels on a screen.

I noticed it too,I automatically winced at first but you can "train yourself" to look at it because it's not real.

It's cool that games have come that far.

In the Options panel, they are 2 checkbox on the bottom left, just up the slider about quality level

If the server has it enabled you can gamma down.
Official pvp servers are disabled.

Default is gamma 3

tab.
gamma 2 or 1.5 depending on where i am works good, gamma 4 at night.
Lethaius Feb 8, 2017 @ 2:22pm
oh cool, i will try to use that then
Znogris Feb 8, 2017 @ 2:25pm

actually if you change gamma and then type in gamma WITHOUT a value after it, you get the original gamma value set back ;) no need to riddle about what the real gamma is (tho im pretty sure its not a full number, more like 1.8 or 2.2, and yes, you can enter decimals there :steamhappy: )
