a low level gather by hand yield around 10 muttons , 45 if use giga .
A lv 100 will give more than 100 muttons with giga .
7200/360 = 20. Seems like for every twenty points for food you get one mutton roughly. Divide your Sheeps food stat by twenty and you havea rough estimate.
This isn't fact by the way, but I've tested it accros twenty different sheep and it remains the same. Be aware it takes ages to farm a sheep body though. I almost went through a pick per body.
when killed the First sheep with asc. chainsaw (180dmg) i got arround 200 mutton, was low lvl sheep tho (official server at evo event, so 1.5x rates)
i also dont tame with kibble anymore, those 2 lvls you lose on mutton are not gamechanging...
way better than having 1000 dinos just to get 2 more points in a specific stat (its also not guaranteed that they dont go to oxy, food or whatever you do not want)
i killed all my dinos i dont need, including eggers...
I tested by spawning two level 1 sheep. One was upgraded fully to health, another was upgraded fully to hunger (gotten around 10k hunger).
When I killed the one with more hp, I have gotten 65 mutton.
When I killed the one with 10k hunger, I have gotten 11 mutton.
I've done this few times and the results are same, HP gives MORE MUTTON than HUNGER.
