How do we get god mode to actually work in single player?

Creatures can't kill me in single player after using the "god" command, but heat and cold still drop me like a rock. Trying to play on the Scorched Earth expansion, but the heat kills me faster than I can craft or build anything even using god mode. Is there a way to get this annoyance to go away?

Thanks for the reply. I miss the good old days when god mode was all you needed.

There is the combo command

That one is god mode, infinitestats and dinos will ignore you

If you turn up the harvest multipliers you can get adobe hut built very quickly.....

Dont forget that wood and stone on SE are WORSE.... they cook you.

Infinitestats doesn't work correctly either. Large amounts of damage, for example getting hit by a level 30,000 Rex or any of the bosses (any level) will still kill you instantly. With legit level dinosaurs though, it should be fine. So long as your difficulty level doesn't spawn 10k rexes etc.

What kind of god would still be killed by something grounded with a level?
I don't mean to troll the thread, but this is the first time I've encountered anything like god mode for this game. I was of the feeling that god mode was something exclusive for server adminstrators. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

If you play in single mode, you are your own admin

So that explains it...
I've yet to play single player mode; I've been Shanghai'd into playing with my (now recently paired) girlfriend on unofficial servers. She bought me the game as a gift, and due to domestic issues, she and I are now long-distance dating. But, enough of that.
I haven't messed around with the options on Ark since joining this past December. I've jumped from server to server, making friends, and regrettably...enemies. It was only this morning where I saw the option for Single Player under Host/Local.
