saldy no i know armor damage reduction is % based i am just trying to figure out how it scales at higher %
So if a dino was going to get hit with 500 damage, and they had no saddle, they take 500 damage
But if they are using a 100 armor saddle, they take half damage (100/100+100) = 0.5 * Damage
So they only get hit with 250 damage
ohhhh ok so to make sure i understand a say ~50 would reduce damage 25%?
i appreciate the help alot BTW
your ma hero thanks so much :P
Base saddle (25 armor) basically halves the damage received (for projectiles and probably dinos). Some dinos have innate resistances overall, some receive reduced (or increased) damage if they got hit in certain parts of their body.
Thats for players.
