how to add admin with .ini (renting server)

just rented a server how do i add admin with my steam id using gameusersettings.ini code with the server im renting from

You need to create a whitelist. There are multiple tutorials on the web

how do i log in as admin in game? and im with survival servers

On the Survival Servers control panel you set up an admin password. In game, press Tab and type enablecheats <password>. Tada, you're an admin.

2 ways to white list people for admins. Either make the list in your ark folder look on the wiki for where to do this. Or use the password in game and the select a player from the list in. Showmyadminmanager and click on the white list option

You do not add it to any .ini

Do this:

#1 - Create a text file.

#2 - Add the STEAM ID of each person you want to be an admin, SteamID looks like: 76561198001753636
* 1 Steam ID per line

#3 - Save the text file as: AllowedCheaterSteamIDs.txt

#4 - UPLOAD the file to your FTP directory: ShooterGame/Saved

Restart the server (after saving of course).

When you login, anyone whose SteamID is in that file will automatically be an ADMIN without having to type: enablecheats <password>.

Since no one posted since Sweet Briana's post nearly two years ago. If anyone is wondering, I would like to confirm that Sweet Briana if correct. I have texted her method and it works great.
