Stuck!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow, I'm trying to enjoy this game, but everytime I start playing again, as soon as the game starts, I'm stuck on something and cannot move. A rock, a tree, a wall, the floor. Is there any sort of trick to prevent this from happening? Right now, I just started up a game and I'm stuck in the floor of my house. I guess I have to destory the section of floor to get unstuck.

single player or a server?

If it is single player you might be able to open the console and type fly to get free like you have to do sometimes when you get stuck at the top of a ladder.

You are the first person I've see with this bug, so I don't know the answer.

Single player. Thanks, I'll try the the fly console command next time. I've only played a few hours and I get stuck all of the time. Happens mostly when I first start the game. This time, I was stuck, clipped through the floor at close to the waist. I had to destroy that section of the floor to get unstuck.

If you are stuck in sp you can also use the "ghost" command to free yourself.
You can type in wlk to stop the effect of fly and ghost, although it is sometimes bugged.

You can also destroy whatever you're stuck in (harvest trees/rocks until they're destroyed, or demolish a structure), which will allow you to move again.

Yeah, that always works. Unfortunately, last time I had to destroy my floor to get unstuck.

Be sure to type in walk after you get unstuck after using ghost. The guy above missed the a in walk, just want to make sure you know what he meant because ghost is not a good command to be stuck in.

I know to type walk to get out of fly. I'll have to remember the same for ghost. Thanks.

OK, so I was stuck, stumbled on this thread, which taught me to type "ghost" to get unstuck. Worked great!. I typed in "wlk" to get out of ghost, that didnt's work so well. Came back to the thread, found the DA mistyped it, and I needed to type "walk". I tried that, but I still fall through the world if I get off of my ptera. "fly" helps to ge me back to the mount, but not a lot I can do in game if I keep falling throught the wireframe. Any ideas? Do I need to type in "walk" twice to end ghost and fly?

I don't think you need to type walk twice to get out of both "fly" and "ghost". Just once.
Caution, be sure you are above the ground when you type walk.... but don't be too far above the ground. Fall damage you know.

Ghosting works fine, however, if you ghost make sure not to mount one of your tame because when you dismount, you will fall through the world.
Use ghost, get unstuck, use fly than use walk (thats how I do it just to be sure). if you have mounted your tame when you were still ghosting, the only way I was able to fix it is log out and get back in (did this while still mounted).

Works every time (for me).

When falling through the whole world, ghost above ground, then log out, back in. Something resets the broken cheats (useful for game testing/admins, but not a "feature" per se) when you logout, so when you log back in you'll fall (hopefully gently) back to a re-solidified ground.

Gets really hairy when you ghost your mounts though. Avoid that wherever possible.

Got it, finally. Had to ride my bird back home, "fly" myself to a chest and offload/undress/disarm, then used "walk" again to begin a cycle of falling through the world until finally, I fell through the world foundation, and eventually died. Respawn at bed and all was normal again. 30-45 minute ordeal because i was stuck inside a rock on login, ... smfh

So, I have just started experiencing getting stuck on random things I should not be stuck on since the latest update: climb a ladder and get stuck at the top, or go for a swim and get stuck trying to get out of the water. Yeah, ghost works, but I would have to use it once every 3sec. It doesn't happen all the time. It's been a week or more since I added any new mods and I play too much every day.
Anyone else experiencing this? Would the latest update be messing up some mods. My mod list is pretty long:
