There are some exceptions, however. Most fliers wouldn't really be able to do anything to you.
That said, wearing plate armor and wielding weapons makes quite a difference...
Lack of mobility in such flak plus creatures larger than that just having the sheer impact force and squish factor to basically kill em one way or the other.
Well, aside from a carbonemys, which I forgot about. All you have to do is get on its back.
Now, a man in plate armor and steel swords. Hmm. I would guess big raptors or maaaybe a Carno. Reason I wouldn't go higher than a Carno is because of weight and pressure etc. anything bigger than a Carno could crush you if it stepped on you even if you wear plate armor. Those kinds of dinosaurs are fast and accurate in the way they move about and bite you, not clunky like an elephant. And the bite from something like a T-rex would bend or go through plate armor and either crush or puncture you.
