No Mantis tame option?

I found a 140 mantis and i have horns in my last slot but evens standing directly infront of it I dont get an option to feed...anyone know whats up with this?

Aggroed? Cause if the Mantis is angry it won't tame, even if it's aggroed on structure

Tried behind it? Sounds silly I know but their hitboxes are a bit iffy, especially if they aren't standing completely flat.

yeah even tried letting it out to see if that was part of issue, nope, seems like it was bugged

You do have deathworm horns in the last slot, not rhino horns (which someone on my server was trying....)
Have you tried also using bug repellent?
Where did you get the Mantis from? A cave or out in the desert?

I find that if I fly away (out of the area 3 times to reset the aggro), they become untameable and then start losing heath. How many times did you have to leave the area to reset aggro?

it was deathworm, i actually farmed the horms right before taming, desert, and even before I tried flying out of range (by recommendation of tribe mate) it wouldnt let me tame even while unaggroed

I ended up killing it cause i didnt have time for that ♥♥♥♥, had to teach someone to try wyverns

Odd that should of worked, wondering if you have any mods stuffing it up. Can everything else can be tamed without issues, all other passive tames working?

it was on an official server, I will say back when centis came out they had the same issue, random ones being untamable, a WC rep was actually present (great timing, they were there same time I was bc someone filed a ticket about bear being stuck, which was even better cause I got my bear stuck too just minutes prior xD and came down and tested it and had same issue)
