Ovis Breeding
Got a bugg with Ovis Breeding.
Once the pregnancy is done and the baby sorta spawns,
It falls through the ground.

Idk if anyone els also had this problem :/
Or a way to fix this

No but I had a baby raptor disappear randomly today. I claimed a baby raptor I bred, the log says I did but I went to go shoot it with a tranq dart while bored and it just poofed out of existence completely. No death message and no body or anything. I shoot babies all the time with tranq darts when I'm bored so I know it doens't kill them. Not with my settings anyways.

P.S. I just realized how weird that last part sounds.
P.S.S. The guy above me obviously likes the Proto-Drakes from World of Warcraft, me too... Me too...

Still happens to me on the Center. Solution: Have LOADS of patience, crawl on the floor, find the baby (i use a mod with a baby feeding trough that auto imprints, i think without that, this solution WILL NOT work).. then let it follow you and simply walk into the nearest water. The ground slopes down into the water and suddenly the Ovis appears =)

How did this person even find TWO ovis to breed. I haven't seen a single wild one ever since it came out.

It's harder on the island. On Scorched earth you'll find them fairly frequently by the green obelisk and red obelisk. Before I quit, I'd found something like 20 ovis.

Has this been fixed? I'm afraid to breed my ovis on the ground for fear of losing the baby! Also, will mammals mate if no one is there watching them? XD

I tried this just the other day and found a possible work around.

I started with an Ovis giving birth in a building with a foundation. The baby fell through the foundation and when I destroyed the foundation, it was there but died as I took to long to get the idea.

I then had one give birth on a patch of solid ground, no foundation. Baby fell through the ground and died in the water underneath. I used the cheat codes to find it.

I then created an elevated platform out of wood above the room with the foundation. So far I have not lost a baby. I normally find them under the platform but on the foundation floor. Once I found one still on the platform.

I've not had one go through two failures of collision detection, i.e., I have not seen one go through the platform AND the foundation.

Amazing that they still haven't fixed this garbage. What a terrible company.
