tek rex saddle wont fire

my tek rex saddle wont fire nor will it charge when I put element into it, is this a bug or am i doing something wrong?

Update i fixed the charging thing but i can get it to go into fire mode but not fire.....what am i doing wrong?

pistol whip key will transform to fire mode, attack key will fire
nothing else to do. if you spawned the saddle in without learning the engram it won't function

ah yeah I fixed it, now that I got it figured it out my review of the tek rex saddle: 10/10 robolizards would pew-pew! again

I learned engram for saddle and says powered 100% (by element) and see the cross hairs but only a "dud" sound happens when firing. -No lasers or anything.
