Hair grows fast

Not that I really mind I guess here's my suggestion if a dev is interested though. Half speed. I mean I went through 2 in game days from bald and I'm almost grow out lol. Little too fast. But if you don't want to could we at least get the scissors down to 1 weight instead of 2? Going to have to carry them around regaurdless and well i don't think 2 lbs scissors are very common. Just a thought. If not what ever just a suggestion.

You only need to cut your hair once and it will stay at the length and style you make it until you change it. If you're on unofficial or SP you can alter the speed hair grows at via Ini

The style will stay but the length grows out after a few hours, which is annoying as hell.

Nope. Cut my hair short and it's grown out again very quickly. Cut it short again and, oh, look, it's grown out. Over the course of the day- playing all day IRL- I cut my hair something like four times just to keep it from getting past my ears.

Unless you're using max length + any style, your hair will get longer than what you cut it to.

Welp, one of us is bugged then, because my hair is exactly the same length as it was from when I first cut it straight after I updated my server about 12 hours ago (half length goatee and quarter length mohawk) About to head to bed but before I do I'll scalp myself and see what my 'do looks like when I log in tomorrow. For science!

is pretty fast - tbh i would love an ingame option to turn it off.
This is one thing i actually hate - full head of hair and a beard :)
Or at least add an electric shaver to the game so it makes it so we dont grow it back for days instead of hours.
And to make the women happy add some Bics

On a different note - wonder who is going to be the first to mod a dino with growing hair :)

I dunno now tbh, I gave myself a grade 0 then went off ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ around looking for sheep and Baryonx's (Baryonxi?) and when I got back to base yeah, I had a shaggy half length head of hair. So I don't know anymore. I've logged off, but I went back to the goatee and mohawk look again before doing so, so I'll see what it looks like tomorrow. I'm thinking if you use default it'll grow regardless, but if you use mohawk or afro it'll stay set at the length you cut it to.

yeah i definitely agree that it grows too fast. it gets full length in a couple hours, i already have to trim my beard and cut my hair what seems like too often irl, having to do an actual chore in ark is pretty lame. and while it doesn't affect stats, i like to use K while i fly around, and i see this long beard and hair when i open my inventory and i dislike it. having it be a quarter the time would be fine. make it grow out somewhat close to real life time, make it a couple weeks in game before it reaches full length
