All our artefacts missing !
Wtf, seriously ?!

We waste lost of time to collect large amount of each artefact at least 40 to 80 for each artefacts

It coast us something like more than 500 black pearls to craft and maintain "gaz mask" only to farm the swamp cave artefacts and a lot of hours.

We lost many tamed creatures to collect a lot of water caves artefacts !

And you removed all artefact from our storage boxes with your update !

Realy ?!

You could make your own server and spawn in everything you had on the server you have now.
if you're on an unoffical you could ask the owner to replace them.
If you're on an official, I think the hints are getting fairly obvious now.

Why to give acces to caves before launch this patch if it's for remove every things players did in ?!

We waste our time (4300hrs me, 4500 my friends), our money (paid the game, and a DLC before game released), to help that studio to finish his game. the only thing we have in return is officials server unplayable because over-lagging, boss arena impossible on officials, bugs, no optimisations, dino desappering, dino sexe changed for no reasons, Structure disappearing too, wild dino spawning in structures killing all tamed, removing items that coast us a lot of time and resources to have, Game release always reported to never.

You can still store artifacts in boxes, dinos can't carry them anymore though. Tested this this morning myself.

You should be glad the devs are as active as they are. This could have easily turned into Clockwork Empires with how damned toxic and whiny the playerbase is.

Here's the problem: if you carried a backpack dino and rode another dino into the cave, it's possible to get three artifacts per person per run (waiting for the crate to respawn and grabbing it). With a decent sized tribe that's 15 copies of each artifact minimum per run.

Now that they're changing to TEK tier, they need to remove unintended mechanics like this, otherwise there's going to be ridiculous crying over "alphas has too much element and they're obvs cheating and I can't keep up with 30 man tribes playing solo waaaaah" even more than there is now.

As far as I was aware, intended game mechanics were that you could only get one artifact per run period, so the fact that each member of a tribe can get one is probably still unintended mechanics, but it's only 1/3 the problem it used to be.

There is precedent for removing items obtained through unintended game mechanics (which are defined by the devs exclusively). It sucks a little, but it shouldn't be a surprise.

So what is the interest to remove all collected artefacts ?! We stored it in large boxe, we were also limited to 1 artefact carried per player before !

What does it change ? when you clean a cave, the artifact respawn in 2 minutes ! So we even don't need dino to collect it, We just have to keep the cave cleared and continue to collect artefact during hours ,storing it in a large boxe near the cave entrance.

So it change nothing, we just have to remake the same things than before that stupid update :
Clean the cave, collect the artefact again and again just like before !

We even never used dino to collect our artefact, because it changed almost nothing and don't want to lose our dinos in cave.
We only used dino in water caves the first times we go, and after losing our 4 best ichtyo and one shark, we decided to just rush the artefact by swimming.
So it's truly unfair to delete all artefacts we collected !

How do you recommend devs tell which artis were collected "illegitimately"?

If you had used the preceding method you would have had 120 to 240 of each artifact, rather than your 40 to 80. That's a significant change. One might even consider it "abusing unintended game mechanics" or something...

Just because you were less efficient than you could have been doesn't mean that nobody else got seriously creative. Just saying. I mean, hypothetically one could have tamed a couple bats or dimos, put them on follow, and gotten 30 artis for one run solo style. That's not how the devs wanted the game played.

So I'll come back to the question: even though you didn't abuse those mechanics, how are the devs supposed to know who did, across tens of thousands of accounts?

deleting them from dinos only would have accomplished this , not deleting everysingle one from storage to inventory , they did it so everybody starts from now ,oh and they maybe in the patch notes now , they certainly wasnt on launch .i like how they micromanage things like this but are yet to adress performance,bugs,errors, the latter.{dynamic bridges - dino dossiers that have yet to actually have the dino/insect added }.

And what does it change to have 100 or 200 artefact ?! In both case it requires a lot of investiments in times and resources to collect it !
Are players supossed to paid because dev just changed their minds about a game mechanics they implanted for more than one years ago now ?!

It's not just something like if it was a mistake made by dev there is 1 month or 2 weeks ago. They just changed their mind about something the decided there is more than one year passed !
You thing we collected these artefacts in 2 weeks ?!

No, we started to keep and store artefact since EA has been released !

So to resume, they decide there is more than one your to give the possibility to cary one artefact per players and one per dinos.
More than one year passed, finaly they decide to change that, ok but why player has to paid for that ? The only thing they did is to play the game like dev designed it at what moment it's an abuse here ?!

So if we follow this reasoning, if dev decide in one month that it's to easy to breed a wyvern so they will killed all wyverns owned by all players ?!

It's exactly the same ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ thing !

The real reason they deleted existant artifacts is a simple one, they wanted everyone on a level playing field with tek. doubt it has anything to do with carry limits in dinosaurs.
its all about stopping people having vast ammounts of tek gear.

Tek gear is where the big 80+ tribes will really wreck everyone sadly, they can easily afford to have people farm bosses 24/7

We are not a big tribe, we collected almost all our artefact juste at 2 players (sometimes 4)
Possessing artefact don't change the insane and stupid difficulty of boss. So even if you have 100 of each artefact this does not mean than you have advantage on others.
And I repeat it's not like if it players cheated to collect these aretfacts, it has been a lot ot work to collect it, a lot of sacrifice, every one was able to collect it before like us, or like others.
