What is the Alpha Guardian?

I completed the Tek Cave. I did not come across any bosses, but a hell of allot of dinos. Then I ascended and started the new round. When I got back to base and looked at my new implant I saw a list Survival Quotient and the Alpha Bosses where there plus Alpha Guardian, but I went back to a beacon and there is no tribute for it. Does anyone know?

Guardian isn't in atm. Jen said it wasn't added yet. Might be at the end of the TEK cave where you normally ascend in the future, just a guess.

Also if you look at your explorer notes you can see a new icon for bosses called "Guardians". You can click it and it will display the boss holograms so supposedly the bosses are actually called "The Guardians". Not sure if this ties into the Guardian final boss; hope this helps.
