Some things the liopleurodon is useful for besides loot.

-It does SEEM to reduce oxygen drainage, don't quote me on that though.
-It's shockproof like the basil. It can also be obtained earlier than the basil, meaning safer ocean.

Wildcard please make an ini for it to be a permanant tame. Not asking for anything else.

Liopleurodon loot boost gave me a Primitive Wodden Shield....... So that's not useful at all (and journeyman fur boots bp, but i find those almost every run)

just wondering since i have yet to tame one, does it need to be in your vicinity to boost or can it just be tamed and in a pen to boost?

Hmm, unsure. They are slow and it took me 20 minutes to go from the NE corner deep sea crate to the SE corner deep sea crate. I spotted them before the tame. ITS SLOW. And also a primitive wooden shield? ARE YOU KIDDING ME? It should make it a MC or ascendant 100% for the effort and time put into draggin the little bugger around.

I noticed if it wasn't nearby I wasn't glowing, and when it got close to the crate the crate would glow. Then I open and boom Prim Wood Shield. Rip

you just have to be like close and/or touching it to get the buff

A video showed me that once you get the buff it lasts 5 minutes and changes the loot you get from the crates. My dumb ass made the slower then a turtle thing follow me to both drops 1 being a wooden prim shield.
