Species: Livyatan melvillei
Time Period: Miocene-Pliocene
Diet: Carnivore
Temperament: Aggressive

Tameable: Yes
Rideable: Yes
Breedable: Yes

Wild:

Livyatan melvillei is one of the most fearless creatures in the oceans surrounding the island. These massive carnivorous whales are not afraid to pick a fight with the largest creatures swimming amongst them. Although living in the shallows like their prey, Livyatan melvillei is known to have a large appetite for Carcharodon ultramegalodon and Basilosaurus solatiumfecit. Beware, these creatures may charge into your mount knocking you off and pushing them away, though, this attack is very limited, and you only ever see Livyatan melvillei using this ability every so often.

Domesticated:

Despite being very difficult to tame due to Livyatans high resistence to torpor, this ocean mount can be very helpful in underwater raids and battles due to the ability of being able to separate the human(s) from their dinos. This can even be used to disconnect Tusoteuthis from ally dinos.

In addition, having a Livyatan has more benefits when owning a pod, because they will create a pulsed call making the ally dinos faster and reducing the damage taken from enemy dinos.

Additional Info:

Rival to the infamous Megalodon, Livyatan is a giant whale similar to the size of an average Leedsichthys and Mosasaurus. I have once heard of a giant Livyatan that contradicts my knowledge of the beast living in the shallows, as it lives in the depths preying on Tusoteuthis, and anything else in the ocean that is weaker than it is. But I do hope this creature does not exist, because I am changing my mind about entering the ocean once again... it really frightens me that something like this may be out there.

I really wanted something that everybody would be afraid of, and something like the actual Moby, not a giant fish. I think ocean combat isn’t as good as land, so I wanted to spice it up a bit. Thanks for reading!
