Found Unicorn, Unable to Tame?
So I found the unicorn and i've let it out to get unspooked after grabbing it. It prompts me to feed it and it won't let me ride it to continue the tame. I'm using rockarrots and it is in my 0 slot.

It prompts to feed, sometimes nothing happens sometimes it consumes a carrot but never prompts me to ride it, even if i spam E.

Sounds like it's still spooked. We had this happen with a couple Equus and what we did was leave render distance for a couple seconds then return to a calm, tameable Equus. I hope this helps and congrats on finding the Unicorn... I haven't yet.

Did you grab it with a Quetz and brought it to an enclosed environment like a taming pen? I discovered, that an Equus in a taming pen did not calm down for taming, even if I left the closer vicinity completely. I then grabbed it again and brought it up to the Volcano. Here it calmed down relatively fast and I could easily tame it.

Ive tamed all my equus and unicorn in an enclosure. Always spooked initially, but leaving the area (/render range - and that goes for any else around), meant they were back to calmly roaming. Using Ghillie armor helps, but not essential.

Waste no time when you are prompted to feed, it should allow you to ride it immediately after doing so, that offer expires quickly which will result in it going back to being spooked if you didnt get on.

The Equus/unicron tame is bugged. Sometimes the "press E to feed" overlay dont shows up :(

Sometimes they unspook when you leave them alone for a bit, sometimes they do not.
Sometimes they unspook when you pick them up and drop them again, sometimes they do not.
Sometimes they unspook after you tranq them and wake them up, from what I've heard.

I haven't tried tranqing yet, but there doesn't seem to be any one surefire way to do it.
