Best way i found was to place a foundation and three walls then a hatch on top with four walls on top of it. Use an Argy to drop the Hyaen in teh top part and sneak under it and pet through the hatch.
Then just press c and walk into the pen and dont stand up till its tamed ;) As long as you dont stand up and nothing attacks the pen the Hyenadon wont aggro. I find it easiest to do it on the side of the polymer mountain where the spawn a lot; that way there wont be other animals nearby to trigger them.
Yep I agree it stinks that it takes 10-15 min for any hyenadon to tame; there is little differnce between a lvl 20 or a lvl 76 (like 1% per pet only)
edit: i mean even the gigantopificus and the horse respects a servers taming rates,
I think this might be a case of developers not playing their own game?
Im sorry if this sounds harsh, but the way Hyaena taming works is pretty retarded.
Gonna ask admin to cheat me a pair tomorrow. Im tired of this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
