After experimenting for 3 days, I have discovered a method that works is to make a raft with ramps on the front and no front wall then scoop them out of VERY shallow water or lure one on onto the raft. Once is it on the raft, quickly place walls on the front capturing it. Then try to box it in with railings to one foundation if possible. Now you can drive around to where a lot of fish are and oddly I was told they prefer salmon, and not coel and they do seem to work much better. You can also use a tamed diving/fishing bird to bring you fish(but I don't have one yet).
