Game has turned seriously lame. Unistalling it. No longer has value to take up that much space on my system. Especially for a game that barely works and has horrid fps. Next week they will add zombies.

but yeah. if you don't like taming dinos, then don't do it. you keep saying that this game is a pokemon clone way after we said that it is optional.
why should i play conan exiles? it's just building stuff. if i want to build a castle, why should i play conan exiles when i can play minecraft instead?

sure, you can have a huge dino army, but taming a dino is way harder than just throwing your balls at it, and if your dino loses a fight, he doesn't just "faint" like in pokemon. it's dead for good. but you can butcher it. i'd like to see a pokemon game where you can eat your pets or use them to feed your stronger pets.

you could find a torrent / pirated version of this game to test or watch some youtubers play it. there are tons of different aspects in this game besides "collecting dinosaurs".
the game even punishes you (sort of) for having so many dinosaurs, as you have to micromanage the food for them not to starve.
but see it from this angle: you're stuck on an unknown island where dinos roam around. if we managed to tame horses, why wouldn't you be able to tame dinosaurs?
if this is really the only reason keeping you form buying the game (the optional option to tame dinosaurs i mean), then keep in mind that the no-tame servers won't miss you :D

P.S. i'd like to see you surviving long enough to tame a dilo (the weakest carnivore ingame).

I suggest you download Ark... play 1.9hrs.... and see just how many times you WILL die before you get your 2hr refund.

They have no tame servers. That way you can be sure that there is no way possible of you becoming weak and taming a dinosaur, nor would you need to fear anyone else taming one either.

200 dinos? LAst count it was just over 100 and no where near 200. As for pokemon, there are mods for that. :P

lemme try to explain...

day 1: i've been stranded in this godforsaken place. weird monsters are everywhere, and i don't dare to go into the jungle.

day 3: i've managed to gather some berries and build myself a flimsy hut to protect me from the weather. i sure hope the critters around here stay peaceful...

day 7: something came out of the jungle. it charged right at my direction. i was scared. i just ran out of my hut and ran until i couldn't run any longer. i noticed that it wasn't following me anymore, but my hut is gone. my food stockpile is gone. and there are several dead creatures around. whatever this thing was, i sure hope i won't ever encounter it again.

day 15: i managed to hunt my first meat. tonight i shall feast! but what a weird critter i killed... and i kinda felt sorry for it. i stabbed it with tons of sharpened sticks as it ran for it's life. maybe there's a different way?

day 23: earlier this morning i managed to corner a dinosaur. it is a herbivore, and it tried to run, but i managed to catch it and knock it out with a club. now i'm nursing it back to health, because i felt sorry for it.

day 25: the dinosaur seems to have gained my trust. i shall name him swaggylocious69.

day 30: i managed to get my hands on enough materials to build a saddle for swaggylocious69. it looks dandy. time for us both to head into the jungle! adventure awaits!

day 31: big mistake. as soon as we set foot into the jungle, a giant maw attached to a ferocious beast jumped at us. i had to leave swaggylocious69 behind. i could hear his flesh being torn apart from that monster. i just ran back to the beach. i'm still mourning for my poor friend. RIP swaggylocious69. you may never be forgotten.

day 53: i finally managed to get a closer look at this beast. for the past 20 days i've been living off of berries and dodos. but i managed to "convince" some dilos to join me. they remind me of rottweilers. cute, ferocious rottweilers. soon i shall have my revenge!

variety is good. People can pick which creatures they like and want to tame, and ignore those they don't care about. There is no reason to have to have all of them.

What use is a trike if you have moved on to bigger berry collecting creatures, and don't ever need trike kibble, for example?

Definitely not a 'collect them all' game unless you make it one. I tame a handful of creatures i need, and get along just fine without having a zoo at my base

Well they introduced no tame servers when CE launched and there are probably more people playing those no tame servers than there are playing CE.

But this isn't about Pokemon, this is about OP spending his monthly allowance on a game that bombed and he is salty af about it so he is trolling our forums.
