Small: Dimorphodons. Hard to hit, fast, and damaging. oftne comes in a swarm too.

Medium: Allosaur. hunts in packs, and can move fast. does stamina drain with it's bleed attack.
TIED WITH ALLOSAUR: Daeodon. Heals up fast, moves fast, great damage, and extreme HP.

Large: Rex. undoubtedly.

Gigantic: Giganotosaurus. Nigh-unkillable, enormous damage output, and fast.

Water: Mosa. similar to giga, but turned down a notch.

HONORABLE MENTION FOR WATER: Eels. Eels are top-notch player killers. However, when tamed, they lose much of their power to kill aquatic tames or other aquatic animals, relegating them to a support role once tamed. Wild however, is another story entirely.

Air: Wyvern. Fast, maneuverable, and has special attack.

Small: Possibly the Dimorphodons, though the upcoming Hyaenodons will probably outdamage them.

Medium: Dire Bears.

Large: Definitely the Therizinosaurus, although the Rex is a close second with more hp. A pack of Allosaurs would also be good.

Huge: Without a doubt the Titanosaurus.

The one that hits hard

So the bear is stronger than:

Dire wolf / saber / thy something that climbs stuff.
Spino has better AoE area than Rex, if you need to kill a bunch of small creatures at once.
Thylacoleo is good for kiting/tanking large creatures, especially if you're using guns too (wall climbing).

An allo is better then a therizino in my opinion.
I use my one allo to kill them easy since the allos attack has knock back and can attack so fast. A wild therizino may get 2 hits off.

Thyla and Bear are pretty tied. A thyla can win just as likely as a bear when used right. Direwolves and Saberts are a class below, Sabers have an armour buff, although with the alpha boost Direwolves are finally getting they will have a better favour. Therizino has extreme damage when trained right, however lack knockback that the Rex has. Smaller end of the scale, They all can be annoying although troodn can really screw you over if on your lonesome. Dimorphdon are a pain mainly due to their very wrong hit boxes and relative speed and damage. Other dinos that can be good for battle include the Daedon, which heals relatively well as well as being a good enough fighter to be tiered somewhere between thyla/bear and wolf/saber. Rhinos are good for one great starting or finishing hit or for fun. I also use ammoths, as good kncokback, decent attack, and decent health makes them ideal when used right. Allos have a pretty damaging buff but if targeted right can go compeltelty wrong. Chalicotheriums are an alternative to bears or thyla withadded bonus of range and knockback.

Dimo's are great living missiles you can just launch at things for tiny/portable.

Small: Troodons, hard to tame thanks to their unique mechanic, but one bite from them is enough to KO most players, and several to KO and let them nibble to death most dinos.

Medium: This im torn between, Allosaurus are great in packs, Megalosaurus is amazing at night, for just ONE creature? Daedons are great for survivability, Arthropluera with high HP can just outtank and murder almost anything given time.

Large: Rex is statistically stronger, but Spinos have better AOE and attack speed, make your own call on that debate.

Giant: Titanosaur will stomp literally anything in the game, but since it has limited life, giga's will be your most "reliable" (that rage) for this catagory, it can deal amazing damage and soak it up too, but be wary using it too much near things/people you care about.

Water: Depends what youre expecting to fight, Mosa's will kill anything, squids can just grab, drain, and heal off most aquatic life and keep up the fight over and over.

Arthopleura never one I considered. Find them too creepy. Squid is a great point, as long as you do not get heavily swarmed you are great. Another point for Spino; If torpor is a factor, Spinos wake up amazingly fast, hence why I chose to take them for Broodmother fights.

I mostly use them for players, the 35x armor dmg is amazing, but even a high level rex fighting one will take a ton of hp damage from the acid blood, swarms of them with nothing but HP can kill anything by sheer attrition.

My beavers never lose.
Remember to take into account the capability of Carnivores to heal a little faster with force feeding meat.

Thing is, on some servers, includong official PVE, grab on all dinos is disabled. ANd titanos can get SHREKT by a good giga.

Small - there's not many smaller damaging dinosaurs but if you want some good for pvp choose a Micro raptor you can put them on your shoulder and whistle attack my target at someone and they fly and kick them off their mount and stun them for 30 seconds

Meduim - Whoolly Rhino or Therizinosaurus or Griffin

Large - Lightning Wyvern + Giganotosaurus
Hawk503117 Nov 16, 2020 @ 4:26pm
I think wyverns are one of or the strongest creature one reason why is because it can fly for transportation it's also some what fast the damage is very good with them also but all that aside you can only obtain them from there egg's witch other wyverns are guarding or you can obtain the wyverns from commands or mods
