i waited all day to raise my baby daeodon and as soon as it droped i imprinted it and put meat in it and then it didnt eat the meat so i put berries in it and it just starved to death i dont think it was a player error but a game error its self, im not sure if anyone else has had this problem or knows anything about it

If the baby's max food is so low that is can not EAT a full meat (when its current max food is under 50) It will not eat. Its best to always force feed a baby for the first few mins until its max food bar gets higher

tried raising daeodons and the food drop is insane they seriously lose it faster than they can replenish to make matters worse they only restore 10 food from raw meat we raised ours on cooked meat which restores 25 on them and it still kept going straight to 0 we managed to raise them over course of 24 hours (2x maturation for us) but they where still eating 1 cooked meat every 2-3 seconds while rendered stassis does seem to work for them but if anyones in area while tribes offline say goodbye to the baby

Tried the raising them while they are in the water trick (which reduces there food usage by 40%)

nah i only found out about that glitch yesturday from another player telling me on server never had issues getting food for babies so not researched tricks to reduce food consumption on them

talking about raising not taming any idea how many sheep would need to slaughter to raise a baby daeodon on low rates?

anyway tamed daeodons get same amount of food from mutton as they do from cooked prime meat only thing better is kibble

A billion. Because they aren't at full health until adult, they will eat anything at one per second. Until they don't eat at all and die. This is a two man job at least. Take 4 hour posts. I tried on 2x raising and it still died at 40% maturation. It just decided not to eat for whatever reason (thanks again ARK devs) and was dead within minutes. 22 fridges full of meat and over 20hours for nothing. This one really does pass my point. I would have attempted water raise but the lag is so bad we lost 2 gigas due to drowning! #fixyogame

Just q quick suggestion If you go off or take abreak put 1 or 2 o piggies next to the baby on passive healing. even if the baby starts to stop eating or runs out of food, high in food leveled daedons can keep up the small health pool until you come back without starving themselves. Give that a try.
