ARK needs item insurance! (MOD IDEA)

I used to play an old MMO called Ultima Online and they had a feature to where you can either pay with gold or with materials (in ARKs case materials) to insure items you had equipped or in your inventory. When you died the items would remain ON YOU except the materials it cost to insure them would be consumed...

I host my own private server and I do giveaways and a reward system to which players receive something special like a hat skin or a golden weapon etc.etc... and a lot of them don't want to ever wear or use these items due to fear of loss and I think this mod would be great to counter that!

there are mods you could use - Death Recovery Mod for example, needs a crafted 'tombstone' you could edit the cost of so it would be expensive and only worth it if you stood to lose a lot.

I have always felt, if I don't have the BP to make a new item, I don't use that item. Too many times I have lost my body when it fell below the map. Or the game crashed and I could not get back on in time to get my bag. If you have the BP, you can just remake the item.
