How do you tame a giant bee?
So I was trying to tame a giant bee so I can get honey for luring other animals, but I found an issue when trying to tame one, so my way of trying to tame them is going on my spino ((because its my only land creature that won't die in the red woods)) going to the redwoods, shooting at a bee hive, killing them bees and then looking for the queen, but then after I kill the bees I realize that, the queen has already gone missing, and I know my spino didn't kill her because I waited a little bit just to see her fly off, so how can I destroy a beehive without the queen going missing?

((I've unsubscribed from this since you've all become kind of annoying and unhelpful at this point, so don't even bother posting anything))

If you destroy the beehive from far away, ie with a rocket, the queen gets stuck on the tree/cliff and cannot fly away. Then you just need grappling hooks and a tame that can kill the drones without killing the queen.

Could you please give me a list of animals that can kill the drones without killing the queen for me.

......You seriously think that if my strongest land tame is a spino that I have access to a whole wyvern!?

a spino can reach them too, but are you alone or in a tribe?
and don't go in redwood, go in the rocky canyon near North East shore

Firstly I'm on single player, secondly I live in the waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay south, going more north on my spino would be annoying, thirdly I'm on the island.

Better find hive outside redwood safer like that. I destoyed beehive with argy just hitting it and running in circle and hitting it again. Dont kill drones when on mount they die by them selfs. And the time came to tame the bee i just use bug repelant and run up to her to feed flowers and if drones aggro on me i just lay prone (not on the slope mind you) and they only manage to hit me 2-3 times before they die. Was pretty easy if you ask me.

edit: btw she has very short load range not like other dinos so she just dissappears on my screen if she flies few meters away dunno if it was because of my settings.

I've heard about there being ones outside the redwoods, I checked footpaw for one but didn't find a single one, are they still on trees outside of redwoods?

Also on some cliffs, on island they spawn around the green obelisk for example.

Hmmmm I'll check the cliffs of footpaw and the green obelisk and see if that helps.

Just a tip, for mid and end game you'll need to move, because at the south east is very good for the early then when you need oil, pearls and fur its just too time consuming go to NW to get these more easily to craft a scuba, fur armor and oil for gasoline.

I went to NW to get these and never comeback. Ive buily a base close to snow biome there and only from time to time I visit my old base to feed my old dinos there. I do that only because Im such a good person and dont want them to starve to death.

Yeah I'm not gonna move since I HATE the north, mostly because there's no way to survive in it, I went there for a breeding pair of penguins once and was still freezing even in fur armour with a torch, also I already have an easy source of oil, pearls and fur, oil from my dung beetles and the ocean, pearls from beaver dams, and I have two sheep ((strangely I found them both in the southern islets)).
