Best way to heal Tames?

So I just got my first Rex. I know im such a noob. Anyhow this is in single player and im near the volcano sorrounded by a bunch of other Rexes and nasty stuff. He won his first battle against 3 Allosaurs but missing a good chunk of health. Whats the fastest way to regen health in this situation? Sorry if this is a noob question and thanks in advance.

To make it more understandable: get a bunch of Raw Meat (not Prime) from weak Dinos. Go into the Rexes inventory and hover mouse over a stack of meat. Press and hold 'E', this will forcefeed the meat, healing 5 points of Hp per Meat (100 Hp per stack). There will be a <1 on the stack of meat every piece you feed the Rex. This is normal. Just keep holding 'E' until Rex is healed up, or you run out of meat.

As for healing while in base: get a good Deadon and activate 'Passive Healing' in the wheel menu (by holding 'E' while looking at the pig. Get on the pig, put LOTS of meat in its inventory and right click. This will heal nearby Dinos relatively quick, but drains food on the pig at an insane rate (worse than Phiomia while forcefeeding Stim Berries).

Awesome thank you man. Yeah I never realized that you could just hold E to froce feed. That makes it go so much faster and its not too bad like that. Been just tapping E all this time lol. Lot to learn but this rex is crazy fun. So far unstopable.

Once you get a high level Giga, Rex is gonna seem soo weak XD
Trust me, tamed first Giga last week and it's insanely fun to just 4 shot high level Rexes ;)
