As for zone 51. I was trying to help someone with this the other day. It turned out it seemed to matter which face entered the holes first. When I do it I use a grabber so grab the visible side and therefore put the hidden side in first. He was doing it in such a way that he effectively flipped it over so put the visible side in first. When he put the hidden side in first he succeeded. Here's the thread about it:

I find some zones can be really tedious and/or laggy (like PENITENT TOWER) and even the workshop vehicles struggle. So just setting a bunch of cannons can usually get you by a level you don't like. You will need 'Advanced building' switched on so you can fine tune angles.
