AI better now?
As sales are gone start I might pick it up if discounted enough. I tried 2013 again but once you get at bristol there is a crash every 1-2 laps, I sometimes ask myself if the developers even tried or thought that was not gone been seen by us.

So does someone has this victory edition and can convince me if it is really better now as i didn't bother buying 14 or 15 as i was reading it was the same mess, but said it was a bit different. I do like the career mode otherwise i would play 2003 but it becomes really outdated and yeah no feel of advancement like a career game.

If you dont use a wheel, dont buy this game. If you dont learn to run with the AI, dont buy this game. Unless it is $4.95.
I ran the full season with the AI, no issues with 13 and 14. Am running a few races now with this game, still no issues. It just depends if you wan to whine, or you want to learn to race with them. There isnt an ai out there that is like the real thing. Then of course, you dont have any idea what the real thing is like unles you have driven on the track, then do you? In the end, this is just a game, not a simulator, not real life, just a game that you stare into a monitor and use a plastic wheel, if you have one. Dont look down, your kid just threw up on the carpet. Keep it in perspective.

ONLINE IS FUN IF YOU CAN DRIVE ,still a lot of bugs depends on how much you you want to spend

Thanks for the answers, will see for how much it goes (5 looks ok), and don't worry I have had wheels since Nascar 2003 and I learned to handle AI in a ton of games so I know they not perfect, but games like N2003 race 07, assetto corsa, raceroom, rfactor 1 and 2 are pretty decent compared to the mess of nascar 2013, especially on the short tracks like bristol. I just miss in a lot of games a good career mode and love that you need to build it up here. I learned to handle with the drivatars of forza 5 and 6.

When i drive NASCAR the race lenght need to be at minimum 30% or 50% otherwise there is no sense racing NASCAR and that's the reason I don't play online as they are way too short (only Iracing does full ones sometimes) but then again once a driver is pissed for whatever reason he start to wreck everybody, or have cheaters or masters of tunning that you will never be able to catch up and so on, so I prefer AI at my pace.

So when you drive on bristol 250 laps and there is a wreck every single lap with the AI it is getting annoying veryyyyy quickly. So that's why I asked if it had improved or it was still a hell like this Bristol example. If i would have +/- 15-20 yellow flags on a race of 250 laps i am good, if it is near to 100 it is ridiculous.

While most of us don't do the full lengths online, we still have some decent races with high number of laps. We ran Talledega last night for 94 laps, and had I want to say like 5 cautions. So online is a good game if you can run as a good racer.

You'll be fine with that resume". Too many kids think this has to be a PERFECT simulation. Well, none of them are. If you pick it up for 5, great, even 20 is a deal. I used to pay 500 for a set of tires when I raced dirt. Kids dont understand the perspecitve.
I only did bristol twice last seaon. Twice the years before. Not my favorite track to run 250. I dont remember a wreck every lap. In fact, the AI dont wreck on their own very much at all. Rare in fact. Usually its me that causes a wreck, lol. You just have to look at the WHOLE season. I can tell you how many awesome races I had at some of the tracks.
You can set the tire wear/fuel to X3, run shorter races, factor in fuel. Not so much tire wear. As I remember, it only was a factor in a few races.
I got so burnt out with online crap, start with 15 racers, 3 finish. Personally I like 42 other cars to race against. Whatever floats your boat.

Does this thing still glitch out in multiplayer races like nascar 2014 ? I was starting to get into 2014 but it never really worked. Kept booting everyone to desktop for multiplayer races or just dropped them off to desktop in the middle of the race at some point. Could only race 8 in multiplayer and even then it was glitchy and dropped people. Sometimes ending with no one else in the race.

Just wondering if they actually fixed anything with multiplayer races or does it still do that and you just have to put up with it ?
Can you race with at least 20 in multiplayer ? Or will it glitch out again ?

Just curious about the details for nascar 15

Thanks

I don't get this game....AI isn't real...they don't attempt to block you....etc. They don't react to you almost hitting them...etc. AND...no matter how great a driver you are...it's almost impossible to get to 1st place...and you always start at the back of the pack. Drifting doesn't work right.... handling of car isn't realistic....just an arcade game. Not a simulator by any means.
