Those who've played the R-18+ version and this, could you comment on some of the changes that have occurred due to censoring of some routes? I read on a thread here that a lot of content was removed from Amane's Route and Angelic Howl, and, since this is going to be my first playthrough of the game, I was wondering if I should hold off on playing the steam version (which I have already bought) and wait for the Denpa release. I'm willing to buy it again if it's a significant difference.
Are the fan translations good enough that I could just read that instead?

Also how far into the game do the differences occur? I'm tempted to just read through the common route if there aren't any differences up to that point. I haven't heard much about the added story either, so if anyone can comment on the additions that are in the all ages version, that waould be nice

The Steam version here is based off the fan translation with any additional scenes or changes from the Vita version being translated as well as some other small word changes.

Amane's route depends on who you ask. People say her H scenes add to her character but I still feel it's perfectly fine without it so it depends.

Playing this side by side the fan TL I can tell you the Angelic Howl isn't censored. Some sexual jokes here and there are taken out as well as making some of the text less direct but still conveying the same message, but that's it. I know what scene people most likely refer to when they say it's censored but this is a 17+ version of the game and it doesn't warrant any censoring under 17+.

I haven't found any added story stuff. I don't know what I'd be looking for when they say "added story" but it's either:

1. Only really small things that aren't worth it
2. Some magical scenes you only get after finishing all the routes (I've only done 3)

Summary, should i read all common route when waiting for fan-patch without missing any important things?( include S-Joke, H-scene)

What are you talking about? No fan patch has been announced for this version, as far as I know. And there most likely won't be one either, given that the guy who originally reverse engineered the CatSystem2 engine for Kajitsu's fan TL is now working with SP and would probably get in trouble if he assisted in the creation of patches that violate Front Wing's policy of treating the SP version and the upcoming Denpasoft version as completely unrelated products.

Nah, i remember there is a guy said that when Denpa version come out he will make a patch for steam version. ( like neko para, may be? even If my hearts had wings has been deeply change in code they still managed to patch it) So i just hope, otherwise in the worst case i think i should have gone for original ♥♥♥ version with fan transalte patch :( nah but I have bought the steam version which is now confusing me

With Nekopara they simply copied files from adult version over to the steam edition (Will not work for Grisaia). The Final If my heart had wings patch is still not ready after nearly 2 years ( the current one is more or less a beta).

And i would not believe some random guy who said that he will create a patch. You probaly need some badass coder like doddler himself to create a patch like that.

You can find the website for the guy who made the Nekopara patch by just googling "Nekopara 18+ patch" he does mention once the 18+ version is released he'll make a patch but that begs just one question.

Why not just use the 18+ version already released in Japan? The only answer is because of the engine differences. Because this 18+ version Denpasoft is releasing isn't ported from the Vita, why should it be any different from the one in Japan?

Answer: It's not. That's my reasoning as to why a patch will never be released.

1. There is no way for me to buy Denpa version, since i meet difficult things when pay for it. More over, my country has some limit rule for shipping package. I may not even get it although i bought it.
2. But grisaia is my favorite anime, and i want to support the Dev, unfortunately only 17+ version now.
3. I am not uses to play private game. But i still want to play the uncensored one >.<

Shipping? The 18+ version is digital only at this time. If you purchased physical versions from Kickstarter then they'll be the exact same as the one you already own on Steam but on physical discs.

If you purchased the 18+ versions you'll most likely be given codes or access to a website somewhere later to download the 18+ version when it's released.

Just re-log in and check under add-ons for what you purchased.

I'm 99% certain they only offered digital 18+ versions which means you'll be given a code or something. Mine says:

Grisaia Trilogy (digital 18+ version)
$40.00 (I think it's $40 if you backed the whole trilogy and $80 if you didn't or something, don't know)

I never played the 18+ version or cared about censorship...TILL NOW.
I was playing,and the choice for Amane route went up,I didn't know how routes worked on this game,so I was just choosing the best ones at my point of view.Howling sheet,it felt so empty after a certain event(will not spoil) that I stopped playing.For me censorship was always a thing I can handle,but... After some time after the kiss choice,they had their first time,but he just says they had sex,nothing more.I mean,come on...Amane is a peculiar character,that scene would be way better uncensored,also I was so pissed off that I went to a website to look at Amane's route CGs and saw everything,I don't even know if I want to play Amane's route now,it's pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up on the bad end(just guessing how it ends after seeing the cg).

So you never cared about censorship (This Version is not censored its a Vita Port) and you knew that this is the +r17 version without H-scenes but the lack of graphic sex is now the reason you feel empty and can't play the game anymore? lol
