I've been busy trying to improve the experience of Poltergeist Prodigy and have resolved some bugs, boosted performance, and even added a new 'Summon' mechanic.

New feature: A new haunting ability 'Summon' has been added. On the Learning to Haunt and Think We're Alone Now levels, you can find a summoning point. If you interact with this summoning point you will summon a creature who will automatically wander the level and haunt NPCs.

Bug fix: On the Learning to Haunt level, a teacher NPC's walk animation would occasionally fail to trigger.

Bug fix: On the 666 to Spooksville level the female NPCs would scream with a man's voice.

Bug fix: Once the Pulse haunting ability is unlocked you could trigger it whilst on the Options menu.

Bug fix: Once the Possession haunting ability is unlocked you could trigger scares and unpossess of an NPC whilst in the Options menu.

Performance improvement: Code refactoring and clean up to improve performance.

It's been a few days since release and now it's out in the wild a couple of minor bugs and nuisances have reared their heads, so a minor patch is ready to solve them.

This patch addresses the following:

• Fear energy received sound effect now has a random pitch applied to add variety to the sound.
  
• Air conditioner units in Holy Ghost level now react to NPCs if they are primed.
  
• Bug where if any primed object was in the same room as a priest NPC they would react to normal scares has been fixed.
  
• Ghost lighting adjusted in Holy Ghost level so during the opening dialogue the wall is lit consistently.
  
• Candles in the Cryptic Beginnings level will now move when interacted with.
  
• Bug where invisible barriers would prevent manifest ability being used across doorway thresholds fixed.
